Many of gnumeric's custom icons pre-date icon themes are are hard
coded into gnumeric.  You can adjust them in gnumeric/src/pixmaps.
The newer additions have a reasonable naming scheme, the older bits
are somewhat haphazard.  Any screen shots ?
