Hello  Andreas:

 Yes, I did click directly on the checkbox. I suspect it is a FreeBSD ports 
issue. I will uninstall and reinstall Gnumeric. My recent upgrade to Gnome 
2.4 may have affected it ? I don't know. But I will try a reinstall and see 
if that works.  Thanks for the feedback.
