1) launch gnumeric
2) type "1000/2", press enter
3) press up, and F2
Why is there so much whitespace after the number 500?
You entered a fraction and they have some pathetic attempt a lining
"/" up using spaces. Enter "1000/3" below and see.
Maybe you meant to enter "=1000/2".
