I have searched the list archives but came up with nothing.
I usually save as xls and HTML Fragment every spreadsheet I generate. I
do it manually but it's becoming overwhelming.
Is there any command line switch that enables me to obtain xls and html
from gnumeric?
I would also like to be able to include a custom html header and footer
when saving as html fragment. Is this possible at the moment?
The short answer is that none of this is currently avialable in a
released copy of gnumeric. However, all of it is trivially
possible.
1) As discussed in other postings a command line based conversion
tool is fairly simple to add, when I get some time I'll finish the
wrapper in my tree if no one beats me to it.
2) Adding flags to append/prepend custom content to html fragment
would be a trivial extension. The only fun part would be support
command line arguments in (1) to define where to specify it.
