Thanks for the tip. I guess I need to investigate my locale setup, then...when
I starrt it no, it prints:

LC_ALL=no_NO gnumeric

Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library

but now I get norwegian menus etc.

On a side note...what if I DO NOT want norwegian menues etc, but still want to
be able ty type norwegian letters?
