It is not exactly a neat tidy bundle.  However, I try to bundle it
up when people ask for it.  Some of it is in gnumeric cvs
    gnumeric/samples/excel
The majority is far to large to handle that way.  We have
contributions from bug reports, several files from OpenOffice, and
lots of atomic test workbooks we've written ourselves.
