When I try to Print Preview or print (to postscript or pdf) an imported

Now, I am looking closer by zooming in about ten times -- it is
printing. But the whole page spreadsheet is only about the size of one
character!

Hmm that is odd. The good news is that it works as expected with
0.70 & cvs. The bad news is that I don't think anything has changed
since 0.68. My guess is that it is related to the zoom feature for
printing. Double check in the print setup that the scale factor is
set to something sane. If that fails put a break in
    src/print.c:setup_scale
and have a look at what scale factor is being used.

Thank you Jody!

For some reason, the Print Setup Page Scale Adjust to was set to only 1%
of normal size. I moved it to 100% and it worked fine. Since my last
email, I had received a second spreadsheet from the same person and it
also had the same problem.

I had overlooked that even though I had glanced through the Print Setup.

I am not sure, but I would guess that the original Excel file under Excel
was not scaled to only 1 percent.

I noticed your activity log detailing difficulties installing
gnumeric on netbsd where you mentioed requiring _76_ new
packages to install gnumeric. You can relax that quite a bit
by ignoring some of the plugins.
      - guile
      - perl
      - python
      - gb
      - gda
Are all optional. Gnumeric works and functions jsut fine
without them. Have a look in the README or the website for
    details.

If I have some time, I'll try to look through all the NetBSD package
dependencies and make sure that they don't require packages they don't
need. (I was using packages or package build instructions built by someone
else.)
