Since you're gnumeric maintainer, do you suppose you could provide an
example of how to use/integrate guppi with gnumeric. I don't seem to be
able to find any info on that.

To make graphs in gnumeric you need Gnumeric >= 0.72 (Current is
0.76), Guppi >= 0.40.0 (0.40.2 is current) and Bonboo.

1) Make and install a copy of gnumeric. Make sure to read the
config messages and ensure that it is using Bonobo.

2) Build Guppi. Again read the config messages detailing whethe or
not gnumeric support is being built.

3) Press the graph guru button in gnumeric

A common problem if you are building yourself is that oaf is
installed in a different prefix than you install guppi. You an
solve this using GNOME_PATH or just sym linking the
GNOME_Guppi_Gnumeric.oaf file into the main dir.

You should now be able to create lovely guppi graphs and import
graphs from xls.

Good Luck
