I don't understand the underlying code completely. Please, give an
example how the strings might expand.
The command can optionally clear several aspects of the selected
region.
- It can clear the value/expression in a cell
- It can clear the format of a cell
- It can clear comments associated with a cell
The code appears to generate the list of attributes being cleared.
- All 3 == 'all'
- 1 or 2 of the above generates a list of them.
We could work around all easily by duplicating the strings.
_("Clearing all in %s") and
_("Clearing %s in %s")
removing the list of attributes would be ugly. We'd end up having a
table of 6 strings
_("Clearing formats in %s") and
_("Clearing formats and values in %s") and
_("Clearing formats and comments in %s") and
_("Clearing values in %s") and
_("Clearing values and comments in %s") and
_("Clearing comments in %s") and
This is potentially doable, but would get very ugly if we added
another attribute.
