gnote-3.15.0 tray icon removed!

Why has the status icon been removed?

I use gnote (and I have done so for years) under KDE.

The context menu from the tray icon is the way that I (and no doubt 
countless other non-gnome users) are used to using gnote.

I would have reported it as a bug had I not read the NEWS before making 
a test build.

I am a packager with Mageia and use gnote on a daily basis, may I urge 
you to reconsider this change?
