gnote-3.14.0 gets stuck deleting

Hi,

I am using gnote-3.14.0 on FreeBSD-10.1-i386. Fiddling with gnote, I 
tried creating a note, but apparently ended up creating a notebook named 
'freecell'. Trying to delete this notebook, gnote crashes with a 
zero-size file gnote.core in my home directory. gnote gets stuck when I 
click Yes on the confirmation prompt. The 'freecell' notebook remains as 
it is.

Can anyone please suggest a remedy ? Thanks.
