Damien, thank you for the reply.

I did a ping and had a look at the registration sequence with ethereal. As you 
say:
Request 1. (or 2.?) gets an answer (3.) but request 4. never gets one. The 
difference is the Authentication section in request 4.
Has it anything to do with the warning: Noisy feedback in 3.  or with the 
authentication section in 4. 

If it was an issue with the firewall/router/nat then I would expect that the
client would not get any response at all. As it is I do not see what to do 
next.
