Not at all.

However, depending on the type of NAT you are having, sometimes the
other laptop could receive the answer to the REGISTER request you sent.

Make sure the router doesn't have a too low binding time, because if it
is the case, Ekiga might think the port is still open for him on the
router, when it is not. (See FAQ, Linux part, there is a command to
increase it).

Normally not a problem.


You seem to have severe NAT issues. I would suggest that you install a SIP Outbound Proxy like 
sipproxd (which is buggy with video, but does the job) and configure it as outbound proxy on 
both clients.

It will work.
