Hi Morris,
The existing PowerPoint setup allows this to work if the person doing the presentation has control of the machine running PowerPoint - we do this using vnc... however we hardly ever use this facility. So, for the GnomeMeeting setup (if we can get it to work) we will simply have a static splash screen. We are using PowerPoint as that is the easiest way to fill a screen with large font clear text plus company logo for the companies we work with.
Having said that, vnc into the GnomeMeeting system would allow us to change the picture using the GnomeMeeting interface... but a better way might be if we could write something simple to swap the picture for next, previous, specific number etc, and then "tickle" GnomeMeeting to get it to re-read the replacement picture. The swap function I would imagine is simply having a set of images numbered sequentially, any one of which is copied to the GnomeMeeting "show this" picture. Even I could write that as a simple script if someone knows how to tell a running instance of GM to re-read it's transmitted image (or swap to another image)
Cheers
