[GnomeMeeting-list] creative webcam 5 picture problem

hi all,
i managed to get my webcam to work but gnomemeeting
shows only a garbled signal of red ang green
scanlines.
I run debian with kernel 2.6.11-1-686 and the relevant
pwc module (pwc-modules-2.6.11-1-686_10.0.7-4_i386.deb
from http://linuxmaniac.homeip.net/debian/pwc/)
i'm using the latest GM release from apt (testing)

Any clues? I didn't manage to find anything that helps
in this list.
