Bad. Won't work if they don't use the same lib versions.

This is the example: you have a libc version on the box you compiled on, 
and another on the box you want to run on.

My guess is that the thinstation won't be able to compile gnomemeeting 
itself ; I would say: create a chroot build environment on your powerful 
box, with the same versions as what is on your thinstation.
