that's an interesting idea, but hardly feasible I think. OpenH323 has
bandwidth limitation integrated but the video problem was arleady
discussed several times by Craig and me.

I think what Vasilis mean would be that GM would ask :
- what's your upload?
and it would calculate from that setting what video bandwidth is
available, the computation would be based on the highest bandwidth
codec, G.711.

However, I think the current approach (Cable, DSL, modem, LAN) is easier
for average users who do not necessarily know their upload bandwidth,
and power users will be able to change the available video bandwidth for
upload by themselves.

Current Cable/DSL settings are based on a 128kbits upload (16kbytes),
which leads to a 10 kbytes/s video bandwidth.

People with more upload can increase that settings if they want to.
