Re: [GnomeMeeting-list] Jaba the hut sound using Gnomemeeting



Gnomemeeting hangs (0.98.5 I think) if artsd is running, so I am forced
to kill it. I don't think the camera actually hangs, it just that the
video device is left open after I kill GM, so I can't reuse it once I
get GM running properly. I guess there is a more intelligent way to free
it up without a reboot, but it eludes me. Having GM exit cleanly would
probably fix this issue for me. I will consider an upgrade from CVS or
live with it until the next release for Mandrake.

I have tried rmmod to get the camera driver restarted, but the device is
busy so I can't remove it.
