Folks;
I'm running Mandrake V9.1 with the distributed pwlib and pwc driver.
I'm running the current release of Gnomemeeting. After starting the app
the video errors with the following.
Error while opening video device /dev/video0
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The chosen Video Image will be transmitted during calls. If you didn't
choose any image, then the default GnomeMeeting logo will be
transmitted. Notice that you can always transmit a given image or the
GnomeMeeting logo by choosing "Picture" as video device.
Your driver doesn't seem to support any of the colour formats supported
by GnomeMeeting.
Please check your kernel driver documentation in order to determine
which Palette is supported. Set it as GnomeMeeting default with:
gconftool --set "/apps/gnomemeeting/devices/color_format" YOURPALETTE
--type string
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Setting the color format to yuv420p or anything else for that matter
doesn't change the error.
Any help would be appreciated.
GnomeMeeting 0.98.5
Mandrake V9.1 2.4.21-0.13mdk
libpwlib1-1.5.0-14mdk
PWC_VERSION "8.10"
