RE: [GnomeMeeting-list] Video Conference Limits



Thank you very much for helping a newbie!  MCU is part of the basic
OpenH323 package; yes?  What my second question relates to is if the
person having the server running OpenH323 has to be a moderator and
on-line if a group of people are going to use the system; i.e., can MCU
run unattended in multipoint use, allowing people from various cities to
a conference?  I *think* what I'm asking (!?) is if OpenH323 can be used
a replacement for the ILS system.

I think there is no software limit. If you are more than 4, the last 4
to speak will be displayed in the video. I suggest you to send QCIF to
the MCU in that case and to make it send back CIF. Be careful it is
bandwidth-consuming though.

I'm not sure I understand the question, but you have to use a MCU if you
want to do more than 1-to-1 video-conferencing.
