Can you have a look at this? IIRC Picture is not really a plugin. But maybe it is the same problem I reported some weeks ago, gcc failing to get the lib initialization right. (gnomemeeting-devel-list, 2004/10/01, "Warning: Regression in gcc 3.4.1 and 3.5.0").
