Exactly ... and don't forget PDAs
With filters to sort email into folders and other email tools, it's there
when you want it but you don't have to go get it (if you set up scheduled
jobs/scripts).
Some lists I subscribe to are web based forums too (eg I think sourceforge
is this way) and others are tied to newsgroups .... maybe that would
satisfy everyone
