 thanks for the message.

I am a bit concerned about the number of messages being generated.

On further inspection, it would appear that there is a regular pattern,
and the signals can be grouped in three. As though you made three calls.
Each call was initiated by a speed dial of 11 DTMF digits on the phone.
A little concerning is that each dtmf digit is 20 jiffies apart. On RH8,
there are 512 jiffies per second. If your box is 100 jiffies per second,
20 jiffies between DTMF digits it "OK", but a little short (200ms)

Oh - what card do you have?

It would appear that what ended the call was a message that the hookswitch 
was set. As though the driver is erroneously generating hookswitch 
messages.
