The source snapshots are now "Gnome2 ready". The code has been ported to GTK2/Gnome2, it has been cleaned and improved. You can now consider that GnomeMeeting is fully ported. Th\e snapshots also offer a new configuration druid that will help you to configure GnomeMee\ting following your connection type (among others) the first time that you run it.
If you are a windows developer, please contact me. The windows port of GnomeMeeting is in\ good way, but help would be appreciated. I'm not doing the port myself, but somebody is \working on it since a few months.
If some people help me, I might consider to make GConf support totally optionnal. Why?
Because it brings more problems than solutions for some people, but also because making
GnomeMeeting compilable without needing GConf would ease the porting task of the new
"Instant Apply" of the settings property. The code is very modular, and it is easy to
make GConf optionnal. Easy but boring and repetitive. If people want to help me for
that, you are welcome!
Thanks for all your support and all the help that you could give me and the others.
Damien
