Hi folks,
btw. what i forgot: gconf _IS_ actually installed and working, what
makes the error even more fancy .. =)
KK> Hi Gnomemeeting users and developers,
KK>
KK> i just wanted to take a first peek at gnomemeeting, but it really
KK> tries hard to keep me off.. =)
KK>
KK> well, but to be a little more specific.. i am running Kernel 2.4.18
KK> on a ROOTlinux-1.3pre2 and first off tried to compile openh323,pwlib
KK> and gnomemeeting from source which didn't work out due to library
KK> problems.. i'll check on that tomorrow if it'll still be there on
KK> the second try =)
KK> so i got the slackware binaries and installed them into my system,
KK> where they seem to match my directory structure.. =) funnily
KK> gnomemeeting starts always with only the dialogue 'Please check your
KK> gconf settings and permissions, it seems that...' of line 302 of
KK> src/main_window.cpp...
KK> unfortunatelly it doesn't tell me _what_ that problem acutally is,
KK> and still adding -d (for _debugging_ *gg*) and looking at strace
KK> didn't bring any useful information..
KK>
KK> so i hope someone can explain this to me, so can at least start
KK> using gnomemeeting until i get my own self-compiled version running
=)
