I know another person who had that problem. It happens in the routine
from pwlib that auto detects the soundcards and it seems to be due
to wrong permissions.
Please try to debug that and to send us a patch so that I can submit
it to Equivalence for inclusion in pwlib. I do not have that problem
and I can't debug it myself. Thanks for your help.
