I believe that we found YUV420 to work - not YUV420P.  But then once I got
over that hurdle (at that point you had to hack pwlib's source to add
hints), I was getting kernel lockups and stuff like that and never got it
working.  (Other processes with hang in calls to gettimeofday once you had
tried GM.)

I sent several mails to the author of the Winnov Videum driver for Linux to
no avail - no reply at all.  I have seen one report of a minor success with
this board in googling around looking for it.  I believe it was on sparc or
powerpc though.

My other complaint about the driver for the board is that the audio on it
isn't full duplex.  So I haven't spent too much time worrying about it.  I
think my Winnov Videum is going in my daughter's Windoze box ;-)  Sometime
when I get GM working for audio I'll buy a better supported webcam for
video.
