I use GnomeMeeting on FreeBSD. It installs easily from the FreeBSD
Ports, but has support for only a couple of video sources. This makes
it more difficult to use. Incoming video and sound are fine.

I really prefer FreeBSD to Linux for its consistency. It is a complete
OS, unlike the various Linux distros where you have a Linux kernel
surrounded by a variety of software that is put together by each
distributor. FreeBSD is FreeBSD while RedHat and not Debian is not
Mandrake is not Suse, ...

But for GnomeMeeting, Linux is probably still your best bet for video
transmission.
