First of all, you should install a newer version of GnomeMeeting, there
have been 2 new versions since then.

I think that your problem is some firewalling problem.
This is the only possible problem.

Disable firewall rules on your computers, some distributions enable
automatic firewalling, and I guess that ports for audio and video
channels are blocked. That means that when the MCU will open the
channels for audio and video to you, it will fail, and you won't receive
anything back...

The green picture seems to be a problem with your webcam driver. It is
most probably fixed in recent releases, but 0.12.2 is more than 6 months
old.
