They are running netmeeting (the new one) and we installed the GSM codecs that are needed as per the website, but hey! the incoming video works great... As far as my video, i havent purchased a compatable cam as of yet (hoping to get a very good recommendation) And since i am fairly new to Linux, whats the steps in uninstalling the older version and installing the newest one?

* choppy sound : sound can be choppy if you are in full video+audio mode, it depends on your network connection in fact.
0.12 will provide a way to limit the video bandwidth used, that will help. (there will be more bandwidth available for sound)
* I don't know of a "very" good recommendation, but a good recommendation would be to buy a philips webcam. The driver is more or less good and the picture quality is great.
* To install the newest version, try rpm -Uvh rpmname if your distribution is RPM based.
* What do you call "no attitude" help ?
Thanks;
Damien
