Hello, using 20051010.CVS-01.breezy.5 of opal trying to get it to work
with a sip service (
vbuzzer.com). It seems to register fine but I
hear no audio when i connect to a sip address. I hear the ring tones
and sounds fine. I tried h323:
h323.voxgratia.org which works
fine. Like another posting my sip provider uses an unusual port,
port 80, which I was able to add in the registar and seems to
accept.
Linphone was giving me trouble at first as well but once I changed my
login name it worked from simply mcquaid to
mcquaid vbuzzer com it
worked. I wanted to try the same thing here but it won't let me
stating incorrect syntax. I wanted to force it in just as a test
but not sure if it took when I added it to /protocols/%gconf.xml.
It didnt' overwrite it but when I relaunch gm it simply says mcquaid
again.
I am behind a nat, but once I plugged in the proxy with :80 at the end
in linphone, I didn't need a stun server or nat traversal settings with
my real ip.
The name thing might not be the problem as I see it in the debug info
as
mcquaid vbuzzer com but I'd assume linphone would be doing the same
and with simply mcquaid I was able to log in, in linphone but no audio
during calls as is the same problem here.
Here is some of the output that might help:
