What about calling it 'Audio input' and 'Audio output' with two drop
downs side by side for each. The first being the plugin (ALSA, OSS,
DV, Whatever) and the second the list of available devices for that
driver with the second being greyed out if there isn't any. Also is it
possible to have a DV alsa audio driver which would then do away with
having to have that option. I presume its needed to support the
microphone on DV devices that have them (Is this like an iSight with a
mic - if there is such a thing).
