Hmm, commenting out the PYTHONPATH line in
/www.gnome.org/start/2.14/press_release/docbook/gnome-doc-utils.make
makes it build for me (There's a similar line in the
/www.gnome.org/start/2.12/press_release/docbook/gnome-doc-utils.make as
well).

I'm not familiar with the system, but maybe that's related somehow?
