The banner should be at fixed size : DONE ( commit 105 - removed
width:100% on inline css )
The banner should point to the http://www.gnome.org/start/2.18/

Explanation : you can modify everything on the splash at :
https://edit.gnome.jardigrec.eu/en/index_html/gnome2/edit as it's an
html editor you can design whatever you want for your front image.

Moving news / planet left/right : DONE ( commit 106 )

If you want to edit the mainpage portlets :
at https://edit.gnome.jardigrec.eu/en/index_html/folder_contents you
can add new splash / banners ( and images ) the banners are going to
used on the mainpage ( now the bugday image ) and the splash are the
big image ( now 2.18 gnome ).
The involved / project and slogan fields are at
https://edit.gnome.jardigrec.eu/en/index_html/edit so you edit this
portlets.

4) the footer can be edited as the css :
https://edit.gnome.jardigrec.eu/portal_skins/custom/footer/manage_main
( is a custom version of the footer on the svn ) so you can edit this
file on the web and see the results. after testing you can copy the
changes , edit the files on the svn and delete the custom file on plone.
