YES!

Youwent deeper than I when going through

conclusions wer mostly the same. (see the "Tasks" section)

Can you please take that wiki page and update it with your own findings?

At the end 2 relatively simple steps would bring a no-way-back progress:

- Reformatted dgo homepage explaining the situation and linking to the
relevant pages in&out dgo.

- Visible banner in the header of all dgo pages saying this info is
outdated and linking to the dgo home.

The ultimate solution depends on library.gnome.org release, though.
