Well, even if we are still finalizing the look of the site, knowing the
structure of the site is enough to almost finish the semantic markup (of
course, minor changes might be made later to make CSS easier). At this
point, I agree that we might be jumping a bit too far ahead on the CSS,
but the HTML can definitely be done so that we're ready to implement the
final look once it's done. Just based on what's happening on the SVN
and the fact that people generally *hate* restarting cleanly when even a
tiny amount of work has been done, I just wanted to make sure that the
situation doesn't go out of hand by redirecting efforts into getting the
markup into a Plone theme.
(I have much no Plone experience yet, so the following is just a guess):
Since I already have some work, this should be a mostly copy/paste job
to somebody that's more experienced with Plone (which sadly, I am not).
Even without this, it'd probably be quick to write it up from scratch,
based on the the excellent documentation on the wiki.
Of course, if the HTML/CSS is scheduled to really start on Monday, this
doesn't have to be done immediately, I guess. Maybe I'll just try to
learn more about templating Plone myself until then.
Thanks for the clarification,
Ricky
