Glynn, don't get upset. In fact there hasn't been any discussion. Jeff and Murray had some comments, we exchanged opinions and they currently agree on installing a Drupal CMS for guadec.org. Nobody else objected/endorsed. Maybe the subject of this thread confused somebody, we are actually not dscussing to create events.gnome.org. Jeff suggested to leave this for later and go now for a drupalised guadec.org. I agreed. End of discussion. Since a week ago we are just waiting the Drupal to be installed. Jeff said he would install it last weekend but I guess he has been busy these days. In the meantime the GUADEC team is busy doing other things we anyway need to do to upload some useful content to the website. So it is not that we are wasting the hours forgetting about the web pages (in my mind everyday, even if I don't ping Jeff everynight). :) > Yes, and discussion takes hours trying to figure out if this fits in > with the current web plan - of course, by which stage you could have > applied for an account in GNOME CVS, and commit the changes to the > static pages yourself. > > But nevermind. -- Quim Gil - http://desdeamericaconamor.org
