I'd rather set an automated redirect from any page under developer.gnome.org to live.gnome.org homepage, to avoid Google and potential contributors and develpers get confused. We can keep the pages under another location only for archiving purposes. BTW, do you know anyting about Gnotices? Where are they now, are they recovereable, do you think the effort is worth...?
