Two things.  Sounds like a good idea to me too.  Perhaps the same
authentication mechanism that Steve Fox was talking about for trove
could be used for hackers to update their own details on a GNOME people
site (including photos).

Secondly, the link on http://gnome.org/resources/mailing-lists.html is
missing gnome-web-list.  I'll fix that, in the mean time go straight to
http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-web-list to register.
