default manager for asyncron transfers

Right now, every application that uses gnome-vfs has to implement it's 
own UI stuff to display progress and status of a transfer.

This results in a lot of different transfer dialogs; every application 
that transfers data in one way or the other implements it's own transfer 
dialog with a different layout, different buttons, different 
informations and so on.

With gnome-vfs being redesigned, why not also create a deamon taking 
care of that? If I remember correctly, OS X uses something like that to 
present all transfer operations in one dialog.
