NFS (again)

Hello all.

Some time ago i've saw in a Ximian Desktop 2 screenshot 
(http://www.ximian.com/images/screenshots/desktop/browsing-windows-network.png) 
a Unix Servers together with Windows Network. So i've think in NFS, but to 
my surprise even in cvs gnome-vfs have nfs support disabled. Then looking at 
ml archives i've found this message from Malcolm Tredinnick 
(http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-vfs-list/2002-December/msg00098.html).

How does ppl at Ximian enabled their Unix Network?! Is there some other tool 
or patch or fix or...?
