Sorry for the late answer :)
Are you talking about the gnome-vfs module based on PLPTools ? Iirc this
module was licensed under the lgpl, while gnome-vfs-extras is a gpl
module so it can't be shipped with gnome-vfs-extras. Maybe this module
can be included with the PLPTools  ?
