'$' in SMB names gets mangled to '%24'?

Hi,

I'm running nautilus2 (2.0.4), and gnome-vfs-extras2 (0.99.2) on Debian. I can't get smb to load my Windows home directory because typing "smb://bmserver1/bredelin$" into nautilus results in the message:

Couldn't find "smb://bmserver1/bredelin%24". Please check the spelling and try again.

However, running "smbclient //bmserver1/bredelin$' works fine.

Any ideas on how I can work around this, or on when it will be fixed?
