Re: GUADEC 2007 in the UK?

        I'd be interested in helping out.  I don't know about what
venues you're considering but I can scope out the costs and availability
of rooms here at Brighton Uni.  At least we can have a yardstick then
(though I suspect the north, round Newcastle, would be much cheaper).
What do we need?  I remember in Dublin there was 
* A hacking room,
* 3 (or so) lecture halls, one big enough for 250 and the others around
40-50 people size.
