legacy icon mapping vs gtk stock icons



gnome-icon-theme 2.23.2 turns off the legacy icon mapping.
But this throws out the baby with the bathwater, since it also removes
the symlinks
for gtk stock icons, which are not really legacy at all.
It would be good if we could create those independently from creating
'legacy' icon name symlinks.

I've attached a reduced name-mapping xml file which has just the gtk
stock icons in it.
Of course, getting the icon-name-mapping script to  use an alternative
mapping file
is less than obvious...
