Perhaps go for the "No Entry" type thing.... a red circle with a white
line through it?  Personally I always thought of something red with a
cross in it like that to be more like something the user would press to
say "No" rather than a stop thing (Although the red cross on the white
hexagon looks more like "level railroad crossing")....
I think I've attached a mockup, but I can never be sure these days.  It
would need work, anyway.
