I figure the wip/* branches are obsolete now - perhaps we should state the
recommended branching policy?
I think wip branches in the main project are still probably okay to
have, but once they get to the point where there has been no activity
in a year or so I'll just delete them. At least from my point of view
I don't think it's a problem. It also means the CI tests get run,
which is normally a good thing. If you want to have a branch that
"lasts forever" then don't include wip in the name :)
If anyone has any patches in various issues, now is the time to turn
them into an easy-to-review merge-request.
