A number of you have not read and followed the instructions at the
link above for invitation letters: this always delays the letters and
wastes time.

Please read the emails that I have sent you and the links that I have
given you very carefully, especially when it comes to requesting
invitation letters, sending in your receipts and blogging (making sure
to use the sponsored badge). If you have any questions which are not
answered in the links that I have given you, please ask.

Another thing that some of you have been doing is replying to people
in private rather than to the mailing list. For the purposes of the
invitation letters and sponsorship, always reply to the mailing list
(or at least have it in the CC). Replying privately will always cause
delays and may mean that your email is missed.

Another pro tip: keep all of your communication with any given group
in one email thread. This helps the people that are trying to help you
see the full history of the conversation and track what is happening
with your request.
