Hello GNOME SOC list, 

Shrishti, do you use Braille yourself?

I am Richard Schwarting, also a student under the 2011 Google Summer of Code.  I will be developing the GDom API for manipulating XML files (using libxml2 but with a GLib-ish API).   My mentor is Alberto Ruiz and I go to school in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
