Hi,
Sorry for being so late to the party this time around, but with the
semester coming to an end and exams drawing near (which are most
unfortunately scheduled to the time right after GSoC mid-term), I have a
lot un-GSoCy on my plate, unfortunately.
This also means that I didn't write much code last week. Ok, there is
now an "Unbind" context menu item for bound properties to complement the
"Bind to source..." action introduced in week 04, but other than that,
there is nothing really new to see. There are some structural changes to
the code, however, which resulted with a short discussion with Glade
maintainer Tristan van Berkom. He encouraged me to roll the
functionality of my created GladeBinding class into the already-existing
GladeProperty, which surprisingly simplified the code quite a bit and
made it somewhat more correct in the same time. Best of all, I was able
to spot and fix a bug in the process where undoing a property binding
action actually didn't result in the properties being unbound in the
Glade workspace. Yay!
I hope I'll have more time for coding this week and will be able to
deliver what I promised last time (a serious "Bind to source..." dialog
which is not just a ugly agglutination of text entries). I'll keep my
fingers crossed!
Regards,
Denis
